Officially Holiday with Lisanne

Posted by Afina Hasya at 3:17 PM
Assalamualaikum :)

It has been almost 3 weeks of my holiday, but I'm not reporting any vacation of mine yet in this blog :P

Liz with her "new parents" :P

I've mentioned Lisanne-my "new sister" from Netherland, haven't I? Yup, she's already in Indonesia since about 5 weeks later, she's an exchange participant from AIESEC and she stayed with my family until September 10th. It's a big opportunity for me and my family as her House-Family. I can practice my English and get a lot information and experience from her (even my English still very very bad). I accompanied her to visit Prambanan Temple, Borobudur Temple and spent a night in Jogja. It was so fun! Because a lot of children in Borobudur Temple wants to took a picture with Liz. For once or twice, she feels okay, but after that she started to feel like "ouughh!" :D Then, here's the review of our trip :

Gudeg Bu Dul
I tought it's well-known, isn't it? It's located in a main street of Magelang-Jogja. Clean, cheap and yummy! You must try Nasi Gudeg-Ayam Goreng.

Prambanan Temple
Even some part of the temple was broken because of the earthquake, it still beautiful for me. Liz must pay almost twice price because she's a foreign tourist. But she's got a discount because she showed her student card, yeay!

Sendratari Ramayana
Well, it was also my first time to watched this beautiful traditional dance. But because we came in weekend, we just watched a second episode of the story dance, it was about Hanoman, a funny monkey :D

Wisma MM-UGM
So, because of the traffic jam, we couldn't continue the trip. We spent a night at Wisma MM-UGM. It was nice and clean and we got a corporate price, yeay (again)! That was late night but my boyfriend wanted something to eat, then we walked in about 10 minutes and found a Bakmi Jowo. Normally there's a lot of restaurant and food seller around that hotel, but they're already closed when we're checked in. We checked out in the morning and continued the trip.

Malioboro
Yah, I know it's common place to visit and I'm sure you already read the review for many times, so I'm not talking about it for more :P
Bargain bargain bargain!

Borobudur Temple
Not so many difference with Prambanan, Borobudur still great! Liz got a lot of fans here :P
Cheeeers :P
Thankyou for my mom who arranged these "spontanious trip", mas Agus as a driver and tour guide, my lovely boy Adit and little-Gita!
Ups, hijabless (=^.^=)
Wait for my next trip report \^^/
